Leszek Pękalski : ウィキペディア英語版
Leszek Pękalski
Leszek Pękalski, also known as the Vampire of Bytów (born 12 February 1966 in Osieki near Bytów, Poland) is a Polish serial killer. He is believed to have killed at least 17 people between 1984 and 1992. At some stage of criminal procedures he admitted to having killed as many as 80 people,〔
〕 but he later retracted his confessions.
Nevertheless, due to problems with the collection of evidence, he was convicted for only one murder. As of 2015, he only has 2 year of his 25-year term in prison left and is set to be released in 2017.〔
